Besides leading The Eric Jacobsen Band, Eric is well known in Japan for his work in Children’s TV. 2013 marks his 16th season with the NHK TV program “Eigo de Asobo.” Eric also is in high demand performing writing and arranging music for TV Commercial music and countless children’s educational Videos and DVDs. アメリカ、マサチューセッツ州西部で育ち、コロラド州立大学にて青春を過ごす。現在の在日年数は２０年以上になる。エリック・ジェイコブセン・バンド以外の活動としては、20年以上にわたり教育エンターテイメントの世界を中心にTV番組、子供英語教材、CMなどへ数多くの曲を提供している。NHK教育番組「えいごであそぼ」への出演は現在16年目を迎える。子供向け英語ショーを日本各地で展開中。
